1. Off the Hook, Bethany Beach
Off the Hook is known for fresh seafood and delicious entrees, but their fresh, tart Key Lime Pie is the best I've ever had, so be sure you save room for dessert!
769 Garfield Pkwy
Bethany Beach, DE 19930
2. Dutch Country Market, Laurel
When you want fresh baked apple pie, pumpkin pie, or any classic - head to the Dutch Country Market in Laurel. Load up on your favorites! Everything here is carefully handmade with the freshest ingredients.
11233 Trussum Pond Rd
Laurel, DE 19956
3. Jimmy's Grille, Bridgeville
Jimmy's in Bridgeville has long been a go-to spot for people seeking the best pie in Delaware. You can't go wrong with any of their homemade varieties - I love the chocolate pudding pie.
18541 S Main St
Bridgeville, DE 19933
4. Patsy's Restaurant, Bethany Beach
Patsy's Restaurant in Bethany Beach prides itself on its special desserts. Fresh blueberry pies are common in season, and the peanut butter pie dessert is so worth trying. You'll go nuts over the flavor and fluffy texture.
121 Campbell Pl
Bethany Beach, DE 19930
5. Warren's Station, Fenwick Island
Warren's Station makes the best Peach Pie in Delaware, and that's an important claim! The Peach Pie is our state dessert, and Warren's Station has really mastered the art of a perfectly crisp and sweet peach pie.
1406 Coastal Hwy
Fenwick Island, Delaware
6. JP's on the Wharf, Bowers Beach
JP's Strawberry Pie is so famous that there's really nothing more to be said. Order it with a load of whipped cream, sit out on the deck, and watch the sunset while you gobble down more than you had planned to.
201 Hubbard Ave, Frederica, DE 19946
7. Blue Moon, Rehoboth Beach
I'm not going to get into whether the famous Moon Pie at Blue Moon is a pie, ice cream, cake, or some combination of them all. What matters to me right now is that it's know as a pie, and it's the best dessert you can have in Delaware. If you've never been to Blue Moon, you are missing out on a grand meal and a delicious, towering dessert.
35 Baltimore Ave, Rehoboth Beach, DE
8. Southern Grill of Ellendale
The smell of fresh pies and the display of delicious treats are the first things you'll experience when you walk into the charming Southern Grill of Ellendale. It reminds me of when my grandma used to make pie... well, it would, if my grandma had ever made pies. Whether you want something completely new, or you just need a slice of warm apple pie and ice cream, Southern Grill has got you covered.
13239 South Old State Road, Ellendale, DE 19941
9. The Backyard, Milton
The Backyard in Milton proudly makes all of their desserts, including cookies, cakes, tarts and pies. I've tried a bunch of them, and I keep returning to the Key Lime Pie. It's a favorite of mine anyway, and I just love when a restaurant really gets it right. Backyard has nailed it, with the right amount of tartness and a crust that melts in your mouth.
211 Broadkill Rd
10. Hall's Family Restaurant, Camden-Wyoming
You can get a delicious, traditional slice of pie at Hall's Family Restaurant, but I'd recommend trying their version of the best pie in Delaware. Peach Pie Shortcake or Strawberry Shortcakes bring you the best of your favorite pie flavors in a reimagined dish. Their apple tart is out of this world, too.
108 N Railroad Ave
Camden Wyoming, DE 19934
11. The Fork and Flask at Nage
Traditional pies have their place - sometimes, you want the comfort and nostalgia of an apple pie or pumpkin pie that tastes like every one you've ever had. If that's how you're feeling, skip The Fork And Flask. However, If you are really committed to finding the best pie in Delaware, you've got to try the Dutch Apple Pie served here. It's unique, fresh, homemade, and will blow your tastebuds away.
19730 Coastal Hwy
Rehoboth Beach, DE 19971
12. Lettie's Kitchen, Hockessin
Lettie's Kitchen is a small mom and pop bistro in Hockessin, and the family feel is apparent every time you visit. Ask about the pies that they make - even if they don't have exactly what you want in stock, they might whip up something just for you! This Banana Butterscotch Pie came to life when the chef realized he had some bananas and a graham cracker crust leftover, and some happy customers got to enjoy his creative ways.
1318 Old Lancaster Pike
Hockessin, DE 19707
Well, now that I’ve compiled this list, I’m off to grab a slice of apple pie… or maybe key lime pie… or maybe I’ll treat myself to a trip down to JP’s and down a strawberry pie. My options are endless – I’m so lucky I live in Delaware!
