This Children’s Museum In Connecticut Is The Stuff Of Childhood Dreams

Looking for somewhere fun to take the kids or grandkids? We've got several great children's museums in Connecticut. One of our favorites is KidsPlay Children's Museum in Torrington. This large museum features 11,000 square feet of space and is geared towards kids ages 1-10. There are plenty of educational exhibits, plus great scheduled shows and events. It's the perfect place to take the little ones to help them learn, have a great time, and get out of your hair for a little bit.

Anywhere you can take the kids and get them away from their screens is a win in our book. KidsPlay certainly fits the bill, offering up plenty of activities for grade school-aged children.

There are a variety of interactive exhibits here, such as a grocery store setup complete with a pretend garden kids can pick veggies from.

While the activities are fun, they're also quite educational. This is a great opportunity to teach kids about things like nutritional information and budgeting.

There are plenty of less-involved exhibits for younger kids, too. These teach things like texture and motor skills.

With all the exhibits here, kids can easily spend a few hours playing, making this a perfect outing for a bad weather-day.

The exhibits are constantly rotating, so you'll get a new experience each time you visit.

There are frequent classes and demonstrations going on at KidsPlay, giving kids the opportunity to engage in arts and crafts.

With so many great hands-on experiences, this is a wonderful opportunity for an outing with young children!
