The Little Known Magic Town May Just Be The Most Aptly Named Place In Colorado
Do you want to take your family to visit a place that is as nostalgic as it is – dare we say – magic? No, we aren’t talking about Disney, or someplace that is expensive and out-of-state, but rather Colorado’s little-known (and, we believe, criminally overlooked) Magic Town:
Located in Colorado Springs, the magical Magic Town is a 3,000-square-foot exhibit that is chock-full of small-scale dioramas hand-crafted by the late Michael Garman.
Also known as the Michael Garman Museum and Gallery, Magic Town is billed as being a "1/6th scale miniaturized urban neighborhood, complete with dozens of handcrafted buildings, alleyways, and sidewalk scenes that transform before your very eyes," all of which was inspired by Garman's time as a vagabond during the 50s and 60s.
During your visit, you will be transported to a simpler time, complete with intricate homes and buildings, life-like figurines, and state-of-the-art holograms, sounds, and other special effects that bring the Town to life.
