Recently released by the New York Times is the list of the 52 Places To Go In 2020, which names the likes of the British Virgin Islands, Greenland, and - you guessed it - Colorado Springs.
Coming in at #13, the New York Times cites how the "new Olympics museum is only one draw" to visiting the Springs, noting other reasons like its world-class food scene, iconic landmarks and attractions, and the city's fascinating history.
Incorporated in 1886, Colorado Springs has always played a vital role in the state's economy, beginning with both Pike's Peak gold and Cheyenne Mountain coal, which brought an influx of new residents and families looking for work.
Since its founding, Colorado Springs has also expanded in terms of tourism, boasting such famous attractions as the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo, Cave of the Winds, and the must-see Garden of the Gods.
