This May Be The Most Ridiculously Fun Festival In All Of Arkansas
Arkansas has some rather odd fairs and festivals covering everything from purple hull peas to how many ways you can cook a squirrel. One of the most ridiculously fun fests in the state is the Arkansas Goat Festival. On October 6th, 2018, folks will gather in Perryville celebrate everything goat from byproducts to costume contests. Let’s “goat” together and see what we can expect at this silly festival.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The 3rd annual fest will be on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at the Perryville City Park. The park is located at 801 AR-10, Perryville, AR 72126.

The festival will kick off Saturday morning with live music and vendors. They've always "goat" good music every year.

Shirts (for you and your goat), decor, and face painting will be available as well as cheeses and soaps.

Join in on the goat yoga or walk with your four-legged friends in the goat parade. Learn about goat cheese making and tricks of the trade during the expert panels, too.

This year will have a costume contest (for goats) and a goatee contest (for humans).

Talented goats and goat-themed performances are welcomed to compete in the contest.

This fun, one-of-a-kind festival is one you won't want to miss.
