That fateful day has always been remembered by residents but in more recent years, the town created a music festival to help celebrate the day.
The Beatles at the Ridge will be celebrating its seventh year in 2018. The free two-day fest will be on September 14th-15th, 2018.
This year's festival will have over 100 vendors to peruse.
You'll find Beatles-themed shirts, decorations, and knick-knacks. Browse through local craft and food vendors as well.
The two-day fest will be packed full of musical performances from a variety of genres.
Of course there will be a Beatles tribute band, the Liverpool Legends, gracing the stage. The fest will also have interesting speakers from the U.S. and England to discuss different aspects of the band.
Although the festival is primarily music-themed, there are other activities as well.
The festival will have activities for kids, a car show, and a hot wings cook-off.
Beatles at the Ridge isn't your typical music festival.
The town's direct connection and dedication to the beloved band sets this festival apart from any other music event in the state.
