The Mountainous Milkshakes At The Yard Milkshake Bar In Arizona Are Always Worth The Wait In Line
If you have a sweet tooth, you know that when it strikes (which often happens without warning), not just any dessert will do. It has to be something truly epic… like an outrageous milkshake. The Yard Milkshake Bar recently opened its first Arizona location in Phoenix, boasting the same mountainous milkshakes that catapulted the shop into the national spotlight. Some of the mile-high treats are topped with entire slices of cake! It doesn’t get much sweeter than this.
Recently opened in early summer 2021, The Yard is Arizona's newest destination for over-the-top milkshakes.
Just four years later, the brand boasts 19 locations across 10 states and shows no signs of slowing its roll - people just can't get enough of these epic shakes!
The Phoenix menu boasts 18 permanent flavors, plus a handful of seasonal shakes that rotate throughout the year.
Some of the most popular menu items include the Cookie Monster (which features Cookie Crisp cereal, both chocolate and marshmallow cream drizzles, and a cookie dough sandwich), the Unicorn (with cotton candy, rainbow whipped cream, and a "unicorn horn" ice cream cone), and the Doughnut Touch my Coffees and Cream (topped with crushed Oreo cookies and an entire donut).
Each month brings three limited-edition shakes that always seem to get more outrageously decadent.
For September, one of the specialty offerings is the Cosmic Brownie, a fun twist on the classic childhood treat. This whimsical shake features Brownie Batter and Birthday Batter ice creams, chocolate "meteor" candies, rainbow whipped cream, and Cosmic Brownie cookie dough. The other September flavors are Neapolitan Sundae and Funshine Bear.
Gluten-free and vegan milkshake lovers don't have to miss out on the deliciousness!
The Cereal Killer is a gluten-free shake boasting marshmallow ice cream, Fruity Pebbles flakes, marshmallow cream, and even a Fruity Pebbles rice cereal treat on top. The dairy-free shake is called "Not Milk?" and has chocolate chunk oat milk ice cream, vegan chocolate chip cookies, vegan whipped cream, and a chocolate drizzle.
There's also a secret menu! We won't tell you where to find it, but just know the flavors are even more over-the-top than the standard lineup.
With Orange Blossom ice cream, whipped cream, a chocolate star, and blue sprinkles, this fun shake lets you rep our Capital City and enjoy a scrumptious sweet treat.
If you're looking for a slightly more tame (but just as delicious) dessert, The Yard offers traditional ice cream sundaes as well.
