As charming as the gated community of Lily Dale may be, it's not hard to dismiss that this wonderful place is a bit unusual. The town itself is only home to a couple hundred people that have been deemed to be real Mediums by officials from Lily Dale's Assembly. Lily Dale opens its gates to paying visitors during the summer, where guests can walk around the town to see places like the Pet Cemetery, Inspiration Stump, Forest Temple and little shops. Interested in visiting an attraction in Niagara Falls that isn't so crowded like the American Falls? Then maybe you should stop by the Prophet Isaiah's Second Coming House. An attraction that you can't miss, the house was created after a man named Isaiah said God spoke to him. The man claims that God told him he was meant to be in Niagara Falls because the world was going to end in 2014. While that clearly never happened, the man's home still continues to catch the eyes of anyone and everyone that passes by.

One of New York's most accessible natural phenomenons that's fun to visit, the Lake George Mystery Spot can be found right next to the Visitor Center. Step up onto the circular platform and stand in the middle where you'll find an "X", those who are standing directly on the mark will sound as though they're in a tunnel or cone. The freaky catch? When it comes to New York's weirdest places, Dead Horse Bay almost entirely takes the cake. This New York City beach is made up of literal trash and yes, you guessed it, horse bones. Dead Horse Bay is either looked at as an underrated treasure chest or one of the most disgusting locations you could ever find in New York. Some come to the beach to collect items that they'll use for works of art or other crafty reasons, while others visit this place just to witness the weird and see what they'll stumble upon washed up on the shores.
