One of our favorite places for a weekend escape is a small town, and here in Idaho, there are tons of small towns that are delightful in every way. Here are just seven Idaho small towns that are perfect for escaping reality, making memories, and enjoying your weekend. The question is, which one will you visit first?
1. Wallace
Wallace has it all — history, unique attractions, and outdoor opportunities galore. When you visit, you may just feel like you’ve taken a step back in time with the unique architecture and relaxing vibe of the town. And while Wallace is beautiful any time of year, we are particularly fond of fall! This is one of the most picturesque small towns in Idaho.

2. Island Park
If you are searching for a mountain getaway where you can enjoy peace and quiet,
Island Park is it. You can book a stay in a cozy cabin tucked away in the forest or stay in the hub of it all at Mack's Inn. Just make sure you take a drive down Main Street, which holds the title of the "longest main street in America." This is one of the most serene small towns in Idaho.
