There's a truly epic swimming pool in Ohio you'll want to check out this summer.

Coney Island Amusement Park in Cincinnati is home to the world's largest recirculating pool in the world. Sunlite Pool is truly massive. In fact, it's larger than a football field. Most people don't realize how much of a hidden gem it really is. Sunlite Pool is fun for the whole family you don't want to miss out on.

Check it out:

Measuring 200 feet wide and 401 feet long, this massive pool covers more than 2 acres. (That's larger than a football field!)

Sunlite Pool has been the world's largest recirculating pool since 1925. You'll find it tucked away in Cincinnati's very own amusement park.

Sunlite Pool holds more than 3 million gallons of water. In the deep end, you'll find several lanes for lap swimmers to enjoy.

You'll also find an in-pool speed slide and more than an acre of shallow water for children to play in.

For the older, more adventurous children (and adults), The Twister is a network of water slides they'll love.

The smaller slides are perfect for those not quite as ambitious. There are also 3 diving boards if you're feeling up to a cannonball.

Sunlite Pool is open daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., beginning on May 27. You can purchase general admission tickets to Coney Island or separate tickets to Sunlite Pool.

If you've yet to explore this massive pool for yourself, you'll definitely want to add it to your summer bucket list.

Coney Island Amusement Park is located at 6201 Kellogg Ave., Cincinnati, OH 45230. It opens for the season on May 27.
