Follow A Sandy Path To The Waterfront When You Visit Odiorne Point In New Hampshire

When it comes to exploration and adventure, there's plenty to do and see right here in New Hampshire. Which is a good thing considering we've all been spending a whole lot more time locally these days. If you're anything like us it might be starting to feel like you've seen and enjoyed every corner of the state at this point. But, anything can feel new if you look at it just a bit differently. This little hike is a great example. Even if you've already visited, consider heading back for another look. The little path is lovely and when you reach the beach you'll be rewarded with some of the nicest views in the area.

To access this beautiful hike you'll need to head to Rye for a visit to Odiorne Point State Park. It's a beauty throughout the year, which means you can visit often for a totally different experience each time.

The park is beautiful, but we especially love the 3-mile Odiorne Point Loop Trail.

The trail is famous for its views, which include a mix of waterfront and stunning wildflowers.

While there aren't a lot of markings here, it's pretty much impossible to get lost. Simply follow the path around the loop until you return to the trailhead near the parking lot.

Due to its location near the water, you can expect relatively flat terrain which is great for little legs. Some people have even been able to maneuver strollers here.

The land is stunning in the summer, but don't shy away in the winter. There's a magical quality to the light here that you won't want to miss.

Make your way around the loop and you'll eventually reach the shore. Just follow that sandy path until the cool, fresh breeze reaches you.

And the views here are unbeatable. Rocky coast, plants and plenty of flowers are here to remind you just why you live in the Granite State.

While the walk itself will take some time, it's great to stop here and there to enjoy the view. Check out this jetty!
