Kezar Lake can be found within Wadleigh State Park in Suttton. It might not be the largest in the state, but it's peaceful, calm and the lake here is absolutely gorgeous.

Beginning in the 1930s, Kezar Lake suffered from pollution and in the 1960s algae blooms were discovered. In the 1970s thje Kezar Lake Protective Association was formed to clean and protect the lake and today it's a vision!

The water here is so much more clear than you might imagine of a lake.

There might not be another beach quite like it in the region. In many places you can see clear down to your feet on the bottom.

And the cleanliness of the water makes this a great place for recreation. From swimming to boating, you could occupy yourself all day!

And stick around until sunset and you'll end the day in the most peaceful way possible.

And when you need a diversion, simply head off on one of the many hiking trails you'll find in the park.
