Louisiana River Adventures Is Officially Open And Here’s What You Need To Know
Louisiana River Adventures offers relaxing river tubing experiences along the scenic Bogue Chitto River.
Summer in Louisiana means two things: snowballs and tubing. There are few things more relaxing than floating down the river in a tube with your loved ones, and luckily for us, one of the most popular river tubing attractions in Louisiana just opened up for the season. Let's check it out.
You’ll find Louisiana River Adventures nestled in Franklinton, Louisiana along the Bogue Chitto River.
Formerly known as Wayne's World Tubing, this will quickly become your new favorite weekend activity during the summer.
When you arrive, you’ll want to pick out your tube.
If you’re bringing drinks, don’t forget to rent one of their ice chest tubes. For those over 21, alcohol is permitted, just don’t bring any styrofoam or glass containers.
Once you’ve paid for your tube and gotten your gear together, a bus will charter you to the drop off site.
From there, it’s as simple as tossing your tube in the water, jumping in, and enjoying the view.
Louisiana River Adventures offers both 2 and 4-hour floats.
But it’s really customizable, depending on how often you stop off at one of the sandy beaches along the way.
The beaches are great for stretching your legs. Bring sandwiches and chips that way you can enjoy a lunch on your float!
You never know what other floaters have put up along the banks. Volleyball nets and rope swings are always a fun way to break up the float.
While you’re carelessly drifting down the river, be sure to take a moment to appreciate the view.
The Bogue Chitto River is one of the most beautiful rivers in Louisiana, and you’ll get a front row seat to the show!
In addition to float trips, Louisiana River Adventures also offers kayak and canoe rentals.
So every time you visit, you can have a different experience on the river.
And even a bad day on the water is better than the best days on land.
Louisiana River Adventures is open seven days a week from 9 a.m. till the last float at 4 p.m. To get your tickets in advance, click here. To learn more about Louisiana River Adventures, be sure to check out their website and give them a follow on Facebook.
