12 Reasons Why Idaho Is The Most Underrated State In The US

Idaho isn't the first place that comes to mind when you think of epic adventures, festivals, and the perfect scenery. But it should be.

You might not hear very many people planning on an extended vacation to Idaho the way they brag about a trip to Vegas, New York, or even Disney World. But for those who overlook the Gem State, no matter the reason, here are just a few reasons why you shouldn't.

1. We are the ORIGINAL home of the blue turf.

2. The pies here are baller.

Oh Trudy's... how I adore thee.

3. And finger steaks + fry sauce = absolute win.

Or any other sauce. They're utter perfection, all around.

4. Plus, our skyline looks like this.

5. Finding outdoor adventure is seriously too easy here.

6. And small businesses beat national chains any day.

No corporate skyscrapers, here!

7. There are SO many more ways to enjoy the water than just at a beach.

8. But we do have plenty of beaches here, too!

9. In Idaho, getting lost is never a bad thing.

10. Even celebrities can't resist the lure of our quaint mountain towns.

Aaron Paul, Bruce Willis, Demi Moore, and so many others vacation in Sun Valley. You never know who you'll run into!

11. We're no Miami... but we have some seriously swanky resorts.

Floating golf courses, sky-high penthouses... you name it.

12. And our summer festivals are BEYOND epic... so you'll never run out of things to do.

Move over, Coachella. We got this.

Agreed? I don't know about you, but I'm okay with our big-little state being underrated!
