In addition to hiking, visitors of this trail also enjoy birding. January through September is the best time of the year to use this trail.

2. Ousel Falls Park Trail

Ousel Falls Park Trail is located within the Custer Gallatin National Forest near Gallatin Gateway, Montana. It's a 1.7-mile, out-and-back trail that's great to hike from May through October.

3. Redrock Falls via Swiftcurrent Pass

Also located in Glacier National Park near Siyeh Bend is Redrock Falls via Swiftcurrent Pass. This 3.6-mile, out-and-back trail is a great area for birding and fishing, in addition to hiking. March through October is the best time of the year to use this waterfall trail.
