Two Rivers (population 11,700) is a charming city located in Manitowoc County on the edge of Lake Michigan. The town’s name came comes from its location at the confluence of the East Twin and West Twin rivers.

The city has an abundance of natural beauty, framed by the rivers and Lake Michigan. It’s an outdoor playground for nature lovers, and it’s a popular place for boating, fishing, swimming, and scenic walks along the shoreline.

Two Rivers is home to a gem of a park - Neshotah Park. It’s located right on the beach and it’s a popular spot for picnics, beach walks, and many arrive early to take in the stunning sunrise over the lake.

The city has used the slogan, “Catch our friendly waves,” and that’s what many do here. Paddlers will find miles and miles of shoreline to explore.

The hiking and biking is pretty incredible, too. The spectacular Mariner’s Trail traces the lake’s edge all the way to Manitowoc. It’s open for pedestrian traffic and biking, and it passes some gorgeous flowers. I had a memorable bike ride here - it's awesome!
