Rocky’s Supper Club in Stoddard, Wisconsin, offers unique and delicious dishes like beer-battered cheese curds and bleu cheese shrimp.

Some of the biggest flavors in Wisconsin can be found in the smallest towns. In western Wisconsin, Rocky’s Supper Club has been wowing food lovers for decades with its wonderful beer-battered cheese curds and some dishes topped with some of the best blue cheese dressing you’ve ever had. Sound tasty? It is – here’s what you need to know about Rocky’s Supper Club in Stoddard.

Stoddard, pop. 774, is a community in western Wisconsin. It’s right on the east bank of the Mississippi River. Unlike many towns along the Mississippi, Stoddard was never a riverboat town. In fact, for years it was about a mile from the Mississippi. In 1937, a dam caused the river level to rise substantially and the river literally came to Stoddard.

Today, the town enjoys gorgeous river sunsets and boaters and anglers can get on the water via a ramp in the south side of town.

But there’s more to this town than the river. In the heart of Stoddard, Rocky’s has been a fixture that’s drawn food lovers for decades.

Rocky's is a family-owned restaurant that’s been around since 1972. It’s known for a couple of awesome dishes. To start, the beer-battered fried cheese curds are fantastic. The batter is made right there in the kitchen using a proprietary recipe.

The other thing that wows diners is the bleu cheese. The supper club has some unusual pairings that might break a few culinary rules, but work well – the bleu cheese shrimp and bleu cheese fish are too good to be true. Just save room for dessert!

On warm days, you can enjoy a meal or a cold drink under one of the umbrellas on Rocky’s patio.

Rocky’s Supper Club is open year-round, six days a week – pay them a visit! As they say, no one is a stranger at Rocky’s! If you love memorable dining experiences, here are some more Wisconsin restaurants you’ll want to seek out.
