A Lush Oasis In Wisconsin, Period Garden Park Is A Peaceful Escape

Some of the state’s best sites are hiding in plain sight. That’s surely the case with Period Garden Park. Though located just three blocks from the bustling Capitol Square in downtown Madison, most don’t know it exists. However, the secret spot is worth seeking out, as it’s brimming with greenery, blooms, and old-world charm.

We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate
