There’s A Little Known Unique Park In Wisconsin… And It’s Truly Epic
There are loads of awesome parks in Wisconsin. But there is a special one in Oshkosh that you might not know about. We’re profiling Menominee Park.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. This park is a whopping 109 acres and it stretches along the shores of scenic Lake Winnebago. There is a huge playground for the kids. But the park does not stop there.

Because you are along the shores of the lake, there is also a nice sandy beach and an area for you to wade in the water. If the water is a little too cool to swim in, you can take a nice paddleboat out on the lake.

Just a short walk from all that is a small amusement park for the kids with super inexpensive ride tickets. It features a classic merry-go-round, and there is also a train that the family can ride around in.

As if all of that wasn’t enough, this park actually has a zoo. There are 30-50 animals and there are hands-on, educational exhibits.

The really nice thing about this place, other than that there are so many attractions in one spot, is that everything but the amusement rides and paddleboats are free. And to spring for those (and maybe an ice cream cone!) won’t cost more than a couple dollars.

Doesn’t this park sound like a wonderful way to pass the afternoon?
Have you been in this park? What do you think?
