This beautiful building is art in itself. MAM features special exhibits that are constantly rotating, as well as three floors full of contemporary works, ancient artifacts, stunning photography, and more. They also offer a creative lab for kids to create art, so there's something for the whole family. This is one museum you can visit time and time again and still discover something new. The best part is admission is free on the first Thursday of every month.

Taking a stroll down Wisconsin Avenue is a great way to experience downtown Milwaukee. You'll see plenty of beautiful skyscrapers, storefronts, and art such as the famous sculpture pictured above, "The Calling."

Catching a trolley is a fun way to get you anywhere downtown. The Milwaukee Trolley Loop runs Thursday through Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., and only costs a dollar!

The Public Market is the perfect spot to stop for lunch or some shopping. On the edge of the Third Ward and downtown, with an equal blend of tourists and locals, anyone will fit in. There are several food vendors, a bakery, stands to shop at, and more! This is a downtown Milwaukee must-visit.

There are dozens and dozens of amazing restaurants to eat at downtown. We recommend Cafe Benelux in the Third Ward right across the street from the Public Market! With an extensive 'bier' list, a patio on the roof, and an amazing brunch menu, this downtown eatery will hit the spot every time.

Taking a stroll upon the river walk is the perfect way to experience downtown in its entirety, and it's also a great way to avoid traffic while taking in Milwaukee’s art and history. Heading through three different neighborhoods with ever-changing public art, you'll never get bored of the views!

While upon the river walk, you may even run into a statue of The Bronze Fonz! Downtown Milwaukee is home to the beloved "Fonz" from Happy Days, in bronze form, which is a sight you can't afford to miss.

The Milwaukee River runs right through downtown and is an attraction in itself. Whether you're taking a kayak or boat tour, or simply renting a canoe to enjoy the river at your own pace, it's an experience to be had.

The "Slice of Ice" in Red Arrow Park is fun for the whole family. It's a fun winter spot to ice skate, and there's a Starbucks right next door. Our downtown ice rink is even larger than the skating rink in Rockefeller Center in NYC.

A great way to end a sunny day downtown is a trip to Bradford Beach! This sandy attraction upon Lake Michigan is the perfect place to take a dip in the water, build a sandcastle, or play some beach volleyball! There's also a bar on site for all of your end-of-day drinking needs.
