Mullen's Dairy Bar in Wisconsin has two locations – the original is in Watertown and a newer second location is in Oconomowoc. Both locations are within easy driving distance of Madison or Milwaukee.
The Mullen's Dairy Bar story is a very old one. It began in 1843, when Irish immigrant Mary Mullen purchased 140 acres near Watertown at $1.50 per acre. Over the years, the family operated a successful dairy business that provided high quality milk, butter, and cream to the area.
In the 1930s, the Mullens opened up shop on Watertown’s Main Street and the business continues to delight customers in that location. Today it’s owned by three brothers from Oconomowoc: Josh, Matt, and Adam Keepman.
Mullen's is known for its creamy and delicious ice cream. It sells small batch homemade ice cream in retail outlets throughout Wisconsin and is more than happy to scoop it up for you in the shops.
The business also sells some great food in the Watertown location, including burgers, sandwiches, hot dogs, fries, and more, But you’ll definitely want to save room for dessert.
The malts and shakes are outstanding! Order them the way you like – light, medium or thick! The shop also sells ice cream cones, sundaes, and more. Enjoy every creamy bit!
