Kurtz’s Pub & Deli in Two Rivers offers hearty Bavarian cuisine and a cozy atmosphere near Lake Michigan.
For more than a century, a Two Rivers restaurant has been delivering hearty and delicious Bavarian cuisine. Kurtz's Pub & Deli is an old-school eatery that’s a must-visit establishment near the city's lakefront. Its delicious offerings and cozy décor make it the perfect destination when you need a little bit of comfort that's served up hot on a plate. Here’s what’s waiting for you at Kurtz's Pub & Deli.
Kurtz's Pub & Deli is located in the heart of Two Rivers, not far from the Lake Michigan waterfront. The restaurant is an easy drive from cities like Green Bay and Milwaukee.
The restaurant was founded way back in 1904 by Charles Kurtz. In the very early days, women were not allowed in the saloon’s main bar room.
While fortunately that’s no longer the custom at places like Kurtz’s, the restaurant has retained some delicious traditions, including German beer.
The restaurant has remained a deli and it makes sandwiches with bread that’s baked fresh daily at a local bakery.
The deli is the place to go for towering and decadent Reubens. Choose from pastrami Reubens, turkey Reubens and classic Reubens. If you are hungry, this is the cure!
There are also German classics like bratwursts, Bavarian pretzels and Braunschweiger, along with American favorites like salads, wraps, and burgers.
Kurtz's Pub & Deli is open for lunch and dinner from Monday to Saturday. The prices are very reasonable, and you may want to order dessert - they have some delicious options! For more information about the restaurant, including the latest hours and a copy of the menu, visit its Facebook page.
