For years, JoJo’s Fried Chicken could be found in a Milwaukee corner shop. In 2020, it went on the move and relocated to Camacho’s Family Restaurant. It’s now across the street from the Holy Trinity Cemetery, not far off the Holt Avenue exit of Interstate 94. It’s about a 10-minute drive from downtown Milwaukee or General Mitchell International Airport.
The food’s presentation is a little like the restaurant itself – it’s not about fancy over-the-top garnishes or the latest trend, just great home-style flavor and large, satisfying portions.
The menu is expansive – it includes burritos, tacos, steaks, barbecue ribs, and more. But if you’re hungry for chicken, this is also the place to go. You can order a JoJo’s fried chicken dinner that’s served with fries coleslaw and a roll, or you can order trays of chicken that are big enough to feed a large family or group.
