The Hidden Restaurant In Wisconsin That’s Surrounded By The Most Breathtaking Fall Colors
There are so many stunning parts of the state that it’s always difficult to narrow it down to highlight just one. As fall sets in and the leaves start to change, there are so many stunning spots to visit to take in the fall foliage colors. Way over on the west side of the state, sort of between La Crosse and Eau Claire, is Nelson. This small town is situated where the Chippewa and Mississippi Rivers meet in a rolling, hilly area of the state that’s extra gorgeous in Autumn.
Just outside of Nelson you’ll find The Stone Barn.
The stone barn in question is two stories and dates back to the early 1900's. Lovingly restored, this place is a bit of a fairy tale destination located in the middle of the state.
The Stone Barn encourages you to bring yard games and enjoy their gorgeous location. They are dog friendly and accept credit cards for the pizza, though they suggest you bring cash for their antique and general store.
