The story of this unique restaurant dates back to 1969, when an entrepreneur named Jeff Stanley opened up a jewelry shop in Des Moines.
The restaurant has had a few different Madison locations but it has never been very far from campus. For nearly two decades it has been tucked into Fairchild Street, just steps away from many university academic buildings and residence halls.
