Founded in 1970 and still going strong 50 years later, Smitty’s has become a community staple known far and wide for great food and great service.

Smitty, the founder of Smitty's Pizza, was actually a barber by trade, not a pizza maker. In fact, he carries the distinction of being the youngest barber in West Virginia, having received his barber's license at age 16. He continued to split his time between his restaurant and his barbershop up until his death at age 86, at which time he was one of the oldest practicing barbers in the state.

Smitty passed Smitty's Pizza, Inc. down to his son and daughter-in-law in 1990. But even though Smitty is no longer at the helm, his family still uses the same delicious recipes that have been served up at Smitty's for the past 50 years for that consistent "Great Taste For All Tastes" Smitty's patrons have come to count on!
