The Roadhouse Restaurant & Inn is located at 4200 Preston Fall City Rd. SE.
People love to stop in for a meal after a day spent hiking or floating in the area.
This charming property is actually a historical landmark.
It's been around since 1916, when it was called The Riverside Tavern & Lodge.
The original Riverside Tavern & Lodge was a small roadside restaurant. In 1931, a second story was added to accommodate local teachers who needed housing.
It was completely renovated in 2009, but it still has a vintage charm.
The restaurant is casual and inviting, serving tasty food seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Reservations are accepted, though they're typically not required to get a table quickly.
Mornings begin with a heat breakfast menu full of all the classics...
... while lunch and dinner fare ranges from burgers and pasta to seafood and steak.
If you'd like to host a private party or event here, the pub and party room offers a little more privacy.
The room has views of the beautiful area, big screen TVs, and even an XBox.
And when you've finished your delicious meal, all you have to do is head up to your cozy room.
There are six private rooms and suites available for rent here that cost between $109 and $149 per night.
