The restaurant industry has certainly proven its resilience over the last year. From igloo dining to takeout cocktails, Washington’s dining establishments have come up with some creative ways to safely serve us. And now, our first drive-thru meatball restaurant is officially open for business — and rest assured, this is far from your average fast food.

The restaurant is located on Union Avenue in the Tillicum neighborhood, just outside the JBLM.
Owner Carrie Stalder did have soldiers in mind when they came up with this concept, as she knows they sometimes need some quick meal options.

However, given the state of things, the drive-thru concept is a fantastic idea.
Manic Meatballs serves classic Swedish meatballs, smooth pork and beef meatballs covered in a rich brown gravy.

Normally, this kind of meatball would require a trip to IKEA. Now, all it requires is a quick phone call or online order.
