The Humble Little Restaurant Washingtonians Are Quietly Obsessed With

Il Corvo in Seattle is a must-visit for its fresh, affordable, and addictive pasta.

No matter how you may feel about our biggest city, Seattle, you must admit it's a paradise for foodies. From the world famous eateries like the Crab Pot to the quiet neighborhood gems, you'll find something for everyone in the Emerald City (as well as some cuisines you've never heard of). But if you're ever near Pioneer Square at lunchtime, you'll pobably see a line out the door at Il Corvo -- and rest assured, that's a line that is well worth standing in.

Il Corvo is located at 217 James Street in downtown Seattle.

Even if you're familiar with Seattle, you may not have heard of this tiny little pasta place.

This is not your average eatery, especially for Seattle.

Il Corvo is only open Monday - Friday from 11-3, and the line forms as soon as the doors open.

Several fresh pastas are made in-house daily by owner Mike Easton, who creates a rotating menu.

As you can imagine, the pasta is absolutely addictive, which is why this place is so popular.

Here, it's all about quality over quantity, so don't expect a large menu.

Typically, there are only three pastas listed on the menu, with some accompanying light bites.

The restaurant can only seat 36 at a time, so you may want to get there early if you're hoping to sit inside and enjoy your pasta with some Prosecco.

Otherwise, you may want to take it to-go.

This business model may seem strange, but it allows the food to remain very affordable.

You won't find a better deal on freshly made pasta anywhere in the city.

The next time you're in Seattle at lunchtime, treat yourself to a plate of pasta at Il Corvo. And if you love quiet, unassuming eateries, check out the spots on this list.
