You’ll Want To Spend The Entire Day At The Gorgeous Natural Pool In Washington’s Deschutes Falls Park

Deschutes Falls Park is one of nature’s loveliest works of art, tucked at the end of Bald Hills Road, just outside Yelm, Washington. The park was established as private property in the 1920s by its second owners, Frank and Helen Noreen until it was purchased by Thurston County in 1992. Today, we can all enjoy the 27-foot falls that cascade into the Deschutes River.

If you’re with kids, make sure to lead them by hand into the water as the rocks and mud along the banks tend to be a tad slippery. If you made the trip to the park, share your experience with us in the comment section below.
