There’s A 1950s Themed Diner Hiding In This Small Washington Town, And It’s A True Gem
Ellensburg is an underrated city, especially when it comes to its dining scene. While its central location makes it a pit stop for many of us traveling east or west, it makes a pretty great destination all on its own. The next time you happen to find yourself in E-Burg, take time to stop by the Red Horse Diner for a tasty meal. This spot has quite the history — and you’re sure to leave full.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. The restaurant's building is an old service station from 1936, giving it a one-of-a-kind look.

There's never a dull moment when it comes to dining here.

Red Horse Diner is known for many things, but they're particularly famous for their hearty burgers. There are close to a dozen burgers on the menu at any given time.

Between the massive chili cheese fries and the tempting milkshake list, it's safe to say that this is comfort food at its finest.

Whether you go for steak and eggs, an omelet, or something from the griddle, you won't be disappointed.

This includes everything from the breakfasts to the burgers.

They close at 9:30 p.m. most nights and 10 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
