Calling all flower lovers! There’s a massive tulip garden hiding in Virginia that everyone should know about. Come springtime, the Italian Garden at Maymont transform into a colorful wonderland of tulips. Like something from a painting, this massive tulip garden will inspire your trip to Richmond no matter where you may live. The Italian Garden, along with some of the other gardens at Maymont, was commissioned by the Dooleys in the early 20th century. Elements of Italian design from the 15th and 16th centuries were used as inspiration.
