This Vermont Beach And Waterfall Will Be Your New Favorite Paradise

The 985-acre Lake Dunmore is over three miles long and spans up to one mile wide. The freshwater lake is a natural treasure in Addison County.
While much of the shoreline is privately owned, the public can enjoy the 1000-foot natural sandy beach at Branbury State Park. The park also has a large grassy area, playground, and concession stand that make it popular for families.
Nearby hiking trails make your time at Lake Dunmore an even more exciting adventure. Explore the Moosalamoo National Recreation Area for an added bonus.
The falls are a breathtaking combination of horsetails and cascades that drop over 100 feet across the rocks. The water twists and turns over each rock formation making this one of Vermont's most unique waterfalls.
