The back and forth trail to reach the lower part of Buttermilk Falls and watering hole is just under .5 miles each way. Follow the signs near the parking lot, if you’d like to reach the middle and higher level falls. And while summer is an ideal time to visit Buttermilk Falls, the area is also scenic during other seasons throughout the year too.
