Spend The Night In A Yurt At This Gorgeous Utah State Park
As local travel experts, we know what travelers are looking for when it comes to finding the perfect accommodations for their next trip. To compile our lists, we scour the internet to find properties with excellent ratings and reviews, desirable amenities, nearby attractions, and that something special that makes a destination worthy of traveling for.
Of all of Utah’s 45 state parks, Dead Horse Point State Park is my favorite. The sweeping canyon views here are simply unparalleled, and it’s an often overlooked park, so it’s nowhere near as crowded as the national parks nearby. Camping overnight is a great way to thoroughly explore Utah’s natural beauty, and this park offers three yurts to make your camping experience comfortable.

You'll find it right between Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park.

This is the Visitor Center Nature Trail, a short, easy 1/8 mile stroll.

It's about four miles round trip.

They're available year-round. The nightly rate from November 1st to February 28th is just $99; from March 1st to October 31st, the rate is $120.

They include heating, air conditioning and electricity. You'll find bunk beds, a futon bed, and seating.

The deck has outdoor seating, and a grill (propane is included). Restrooms are located just a short walk away.

Enjoy a starry night from your deck.
