The Board Game Cafe In Utah That’s Oodles Of Fun

When you were a kid, your mom told you not to goof off during dinner, right? "Sit up straight and eat your food!" Well, here's a little cafe in Utah County that encourages you to play while you eat, and you'll want to check it out.

When you're looking for a fun night out, head to Good Move Cafe. It's located at 1 E. Center St. #100, Provo, UT 84601.

This cozy cafe has plenty of comfortable seating to accommodate groups of every size. Bring a date here, come in with your family, or meet up with all your friends.

The lounge areas are perfect for casual card games or just hanging out and chatting.

Good Move Cafe has more than 800 different board games that you can play for just a $5 cover charge.

No matter what kind of game you'd like to play, you'll find it here. They have everything from strategy games like Settlers of Catan, to childhood favorites like Battleship.

The cafe hosts tournaments every Wednesday night at 6 p.m.. Each week, a different game is featured, so keep an eye on the tournament calendar to watch for your favorite. Soft drinks are free for tournament players, and you can even win cash prizes.

Other special events include Family Night on Mondays, when your entire family can play for just $10 when you also order food, and Two Dollar Tuesday, when you can play for just two bucks. If you really love to play, you might consider a membership. For just $15, you get unlimited gaming all month long, and a free buddy pass to use Monday through Thursday.

Come hungry, and eat while you play. The menu has lots of sandwiches and salads, and you'll also find snack options, including snack trays, where you can choose three finger food items.

Stop in at Good Move Cafe Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m. to Midnight. It's closed on Sunday.
