The Gifford Homestead is a historic treasure at Capitol Reef National Park. Originally built back in 1908 by Calvin Pendleton, the Jorgenson family also lived here briefly, and the Gifford family called this place home from 1928 to 1969.
Address: Capitol Reef National Park, Scenic Drive, Teasdale, UT, 84773
The 200-acre homestead includes a farmhouse, smokehouse, garden, pasture, and orchards full of peach, apple, and cherry trees.
You can pick fruit here seasonally, but you're also going to want to visit the store, where you'll find fresh-baked pies.
