Imagine being able to buy your food from a farm that uses sustainable farming practices, and where you can take your produce home just hours after it's been picked. You can do exactly that when you visit Mesa Farm Market in Caineville.
For farm-fresh produce, eggs, goat cheese, and artisan baked goods, you need to hop in the car and drive to the rural town of Caineville.
The farm is located near Capitol Reef National Park, and enjoys the same scenic beauty as the park. Enjoy views of redrock cliffs and wide open skies.
The farm got its start in 1994, and now it grows all kinds of vegetables and herbs, using sustainable farm practices on its 50 acres.
The adorable goats who live at the farm provide milk that's used to make yogurt and farmstead cheese.
Chickens supply fresh eggs, and these plucky birds aren't caged - they're truly free-range.
In the yard, you'll find a big, brick oven. It's used to make the most delicious artisan breads.
If you're lucky enough to show up when they're pulling some loaves out, you can enjoy yours while they're still warm.
The "World Famous Cinnamon Rolls" are also baked in the brick oven, and they're every bit as delicious as they look!
The bounties of the harvest are available for sale, and they'll even make you a salad when you visit.
Pair it with a crusty slice of artisan bread and some creamy goat cheese, and you've got a wonderful meal.
It's definitely worth a visit to see what kind of tasty treats they have!
