Utah’s craft brewery scene was slow to get its start, but now beer-lovers in the Beehive State have plenty of places to choose from. One of our favorites is a little brewery that was originally founded way back in 1884. You’ll love the story behind this place:
The original Fisher Brewery was founded by a German immigrant named Albert Fisher back in 1884.
Though you might think that a brewery wouldn't do well in Utah's early days, it succeeded beyond his wildest dreams. After several larger breweries folded Fisher into their companies, it eventually closed its door in the 1960s.,
Albert's great-great grandson, Tom Fisher Riemondy, re-opened the brewery in 2017.
Tom and his three business partners were determined to bring back the old classic brewery, combining some of the old techniques with the latest brewing technology.

The brewery is located in a building that once served as an auto-body shop.
