Celebrating Its 100th Year, Log Haven Restaurant In Utah Has A Charming History
Log Haven has long had a reputation as the most romantic restaurant in the Beehive State, and it’s been honored with piles of awards and accolades for its atmosphere, service and food over the last few decades. But long before it was a beautiful place to dine, this cozy log cabin had already had charming history.
We’re aware that these uncertain times are limiting many aspects of life. While we continue to feature destinations that make our state wonderful, please take proper precautions or add them to your bucket list to see at a later date. If you know of a local business that could use some extra support during these times, please nominate them here: onlyinyourstate.com/nominate

The pretty little log structure was an anniversary present from local businessman L.F. Rains to his wife. It was quite a gift!

After the Miller family left, the cabin became a restaurant, but during the 1980s, the log home was in shambles and was going to be torn down. Margo Provost purchased the property and renovated it, opening Log Haven back up to the public in 1994.

You'll find that everything about Log Haven is warm and welcoming, from the pleasant staff to the cozy decor.

This dining room seats up to 50 guests, and features an entire wall full of books and antiques.

We can't get enough of the flourless chocolate cake, served with raspberry sauce.

Log Haven is open seven nights a week, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended, and can be made by calling 801-272-8255.
