The Day Trip Of A Lifetime You Can Only Take In Wyoming

Here's a day trip you can only take in Wyoming that showcases the spectacular beauty of the state. This day trip consists of a drive through the most scenic portion of the state with incredible views of majestic mountains, pristine lakes and wildlife.
This day trip of a lifetime starts in Moose. From there, you're going to head north along US-89.
First stop is Blacktail Ponds Overlook which consists of a mountainous rock formation with a flat top. Here you can enjoy wildflowers at the foot of the Grand Teton Mountains.
Next stop is the Teton Point Overlook for panoramic views of the snow-capped mountains.
Continue on a few miles further to the Snake River Overlook where you can get a breathtaking view of the river winding along the Teton Mountains.
Heading north, you will pass the Cunningham Cabin where Pierce and Margaret Cunningham lived from 1890 to 1928.
Next stop is Oxbow Bend where you can enjoy a very scenic view of Mount Moran.
Further ahead is Jackson Lake which is a popular destination for fishing, camping, boating and hiking.
Take a left onto Teton Park Road and head east on Signal Mountain Road which leads to the summit of Signal Mountain. This stop offers spectacular views of the Tetons, Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park.
Head south on Teton Park Road to Jenny Lake. Check out this view across the lake.
Head back to Moose and you will have completed the 42 Mile Scenic Loop Drive.
