The rock consists of 92 prehistoric petroglyph panels and over 300 petroglyph figures depicting the most important aspects of indigenous life.
Over the years, local concern led to the official designation of the rock as a state petroglyph site. In 2011, a visitor's center and interpretive trails were established on the site.
The site is open year-round, but in the winter months (October to April), you need to pick up a key from the Hot Spring State Park office in order to access the site and trails.
