You Won’t Want To Miss This West Virginia Halloween Train Ride

Cass Scenic Railroad offers a unique, family-friendly Halloween train ride with costumes, games, and live music.

It's October, and time to start planning some spooky celebrations! Cass Scenic Railroad has a unique train ride that will take place on Saturday, October 28, 2017.

If you're looking for a unique way to celebrate Halloween this year, check out this special train ride from Cass Scenic Railroad.

Before the train ride, you can explore the old company town of Cass.

The town was founded in 1901 by the West Virginia Pulp and Paper Company. The town was home to the loggers who worked in the nearby mountains, and the railroad was used to haul lumber.

You'll board a train filled with just the right amount of spookiness.

Guests are encouraged to wear costumes, but it won't be super scary. This is an event for the whole family.

The train ride will be a 1.5 hour journey.

The train will stop at Whittaker Station, where there will be a hot dog roast, games, live music, and candy.

While you're there, look for the old fire tower, which was used to keep watch over the forests.

After the fun at Whittaker Station, the train will return back to Cass.

What a great way to create Halloween memories!
