2. Lotito City Park - Bluefield
Lotito City Park in Bluefield has an impressive display of over 900,000 lights. You can also see a live nativity scene, and take a trolley or a hayride. The activities are free, but the park will accept donations for all who visit.
3. Christmas Bramwell Tour of Homes
These historic homes will be elaborately decorated for the holidays, and some even open up for visitors to tour the inside, too! What originally started in 1983 is now an annual tradition for many families in the Bramwell area.
4. Chief Logan State Park - Logan
The park tends to go all out for Christmas, typically starting the festivities in late November through New Year's Day. This event is free to the public and made possible by volunteers who help set up lights in October.
5. St. Albans - Albans
St. Albans has an impressive light show every year. It's typically open from the end of November through the end of December and closed on major holidays within that time frame.
6. Lacy’s Lights and Maples Display - Fayetteville
The Lacy’s Lights and Maples Display at Fayette County Park has been around for decades, becoming a delightful tradition for many. The famous "Lacy's Lights" as they are known, typically start shining the first week of December and run throughout the month.
7. Page-Vawter House - Ansted
This historic home in downtown Ansted was originally built back in 1889 and every year is decorated with lights for the holidays. Visitors enjoy the Victorian theme and the unique slice of holiday history.
8. Celebration of Lights at Morris Park - Fairmont
Morris Park has a drive-through experience over a mile long featuring totally unique Christmas lights in West Virginia. The Celebration of Lights will illuminate you with the spirit of Christmas when you visit this annual celebration.
9. Oglebay Resort - Wheeling
This massive light display has been called one of the best in the country. You can walk, drive, or take a trolley through acres of holiday lights. The Good Zoo will also have special hours and a light display. A per-car donation is requested and is valid for the entire festival season.
