The Ultimate Washington Fall Weekend Road Trip Is Right Here

If you're the kind of person who looks forward to pumpkin spice all year and whose favorite color is October, this road trip is for you. We've got several weeks of prime fall foliage remaining here in Washington, our pumpkin patches are open for the season, and the corn mazes are ready to navigate.

This weekend road trip takes you through a little bit of everything autumn-related. Feel free to modify it to include your favorite spots.

Start your adventure at Lattin's Country Cider Mill and Farm in Olympia.

Stock up on farm fresh produce, freshly baked pastries, and of course, delicious cider.

You can walk across the street to Rutledge Corn Maze, which is open daily all month long.

The maze is family-friendly and fun, but good luck getting out quickly.

It wouldn't be a fall road trip without a farm stay. Head north to Hagen Family Farm in Snohomish, which offers overnight accommodations in their two farmhouses.

Watch the sunset from a nice country porch with an awesome view of the valley.

The next morning, make the 15 minute drive to Top Pot Doughnuts in Bothell as soon as you wake up.

Their fall special is the Pumpkin Old Fashioned Doughnut, and it tastes even better than you could ever imagine.

Next, take the scenic drive over to Craven Farm and pick out your pumpkins.

Located in Snohomish, Craven Farm has plenty of awesome activities for kids, but you'll enjoy yourself even if you're on an adults-only adventure.

And finally, drive down Highway 2 and take in the beautiful fall colors until your reach our Bavarian village, Leavenworth.

The last weekend of Oktoberfest is this weekend, but even if you miss those festivities, there's still no better place to be in autumn than this charming town.

Fall is so beautiful in Washington. Enjoy it to the fullest. Here's where to go to see the best fall foliage in the state.
