Unless you went to Washington State University (in which case, go Cougs), Pullman probably means little to you other than being a spot on the map. But aside from the university, this tiny town happens to be home to some delicious restaurants. These students are far from starving, that's for sure.
Pullman is a charming little city in Whitman County.
Its shops are full of Cougar memorabilia, and its streets are lined with restaurants and bars.
This is one of the most iconic signs in town.
For over 40 years, Cougar Country has been serving giant burgers and Cyclones, which is an ice cream concoction like no other.
The Black Cypress on Main Street is a popular date night and special occasion spot.
The Mediterranean menu at The Black Cypress is the stuff dreams are made of.
Fresh fish, pasta, and plenty of grilled meats are always available.
You'll find Foundry Kitchen & Cocktails, another local favorite, on Spring Street.
Enjoy some flatbread or a Portobello Burger in their casually elegant setting, complete with a seasonal patio.
South Fork Public House is warm and inviting, often hosting fun events for the community...
... but nothing tops the tasty food.
The fish & chips here are scrumptious.
Every Coug knows that on a (late) Sunday morning, there's no better place to be than Old European.
We're not claiming that the Danish Aebleskivers will cure a hangover, but we're not saying they won't, either.
When pizza cravings strike, you'll have plenty of options... this is a college town, after all.
But the gourmet pies at Porch Light Pizza are second to none.
For almost 30 years, Sella's has been filling local bellies with their amazing calzones (and pizza).
Good luck trying to get through one of these in one sitting.
These are just a few of the tantalizing options you'll find in Pullman. Washington's big cities may be well known for their restaurants, but our small towns have plenty to offer in that department as well.
