Jaine Cottage is a new winery in the Hollywood District, and the entire experience is breathtaking.

Jaine is a toast to life’s beautiful moments, and they've provided a beautiful space to enjoy them.

You'll be smitten as soon as you see the clean, white, rustic-chic space.

You'll have your choice of seating indoors, in the covered tent, or out on the patio.

While most local wineries tend to focus on red wines, Jaine's lineup consists only of whites and rosé.

The wine is hand-harvested from sustainable sites and crafted with minimal intervention, leading to some absolutely fantastic flavor.

Next, head right next door to Brian Carter Cellars and try to snag a seat on the patio.

Not only is it absolutely perfect on a warm, sunny day, but you'll take in views of the lush green fields and Mt. Rainier in the distance.

Brian Carter, the winemaker, uses centuries-old traditions to create his signature European-style blends.

Each blend is made after a lot of deliberation and consideration, and every wine comes with a story. Between the delightful ambiance, the top-notch vino, and the tasty snacks on the menu, it's easy to spend an entire afternoon here.

You'll find the Lobo Hills tasting room up in the Warehouse District.

You'll have plenty of tiny tasting rooms to choose from here, all within walking distance of each other. But choosing this one is strongly encouraged.

The Lobo Hills story is the perfect example of turning something negative into a positive. -- it all started with a bike accident.

Winemaker Tony Dollar was riding his bike one day when he was struck by a car, driven by a woman Tony describes as nice (a testament to his own fantastic character). He and his wife, Dana, used the settlement money from the accident to pursue their lifelong dream of becoming winemakers.

It took a lot of time and effort, but today Lobo Hills can be found on many local store shelves and here in their Woodinville tasting room.

The wine is perfectly balanced, free from chemical additives, and downright irresistible (whites and reds alike). When you go, make sure to order a charcuterie platter. It's made with local meats and cheese, and it hits the spot after a long day of tasting.

Of course, we can't live on charcuterie alone (at least, not forever). So when hunger strikes, check out Heritage Kitchen in the Hollywood District.

Heritage has both indoor seating and a lovely sunny patio, and it's perfect for date nights, group outings, or family meals.

Chef and owner Breanna Beike uses fresh, simple, and local (often very local) ingredients when creating her modern American menu.

The dinner menu here isn't massive, but it's well-rounded enough to cater to every taste. There are typically a few delicious daily specials as well.

Heritage serves dinner Wednesday - Sunday, lunch Wednesday - Friday, and brunch on Saturday and Sunday.

You really can't go wrong with anything on the menu. But if you come for dinner, make sure to order the Dungeness Crab Hushpuppies. They're a local favorite, and you'll know why after one bite.
