The weather in Washington varies greatly, with Eastern Washington experiencing scorching summers and snowy winters and the west side sometimes setting records for rainfall.
But here, the weather stays somewhat consistent, staying mild throughout the year. While the area certainly sees some chilly winter days and a few hot summer days, the majority of the time, the temperature is perfectly pleasant.
Friday Harbor sees around 157 sunny days each year, which is fantastic for this remote island.
