A Sweet Day Trip in the Blue Ridge Mountains

Welcome to Nancy's Candy Company! Tucked away in the southwestern corner of the state in Meadows of Dan, Virginia, this sweet day trip destination will win you over from the moment you arrive. While it may not look like much more than a warehouse from the outside, the inside is positively brimming with all things chocolate, fudge, and candy. The more time you spend here, the better it gets.

It's the kind of place where hard work and love of chocolate combine into something truly special. Visitors from all over have claimed this to be some of the best chocolate they've ever tried. You may just need to test that theory for yourself!

Discover the Sweet Legacy Behind Nancy’s Candy

So what makes Nancy's candy stand apart from the rest? For one, she uses only the finest chocolate available. That, combined with fresh cream and butter, help from her neighbors, original recipes, and a touch of patience, all result in the extraordinary chocolate you'll sample. Nancy Galli started her passion project of making chocolates and fudge in 1987, and the rest, as they say, is history. Her signature fudge recipe has stood the test of time.

What to Expect Inside This Delightful Chocolate Factory

There's so much to experience at Nancy's, from the sampling to the legacy and even witnessing chocolates being made through the observation window. And the best part of all? Everything is priced wholesale, so you can really stock up on your favorites! No matter if you're passing through town or making a special trip to this chocolate factory, you'll be so glad you stopped by. Just be sure not to leave empty-handed! There are 45 fudge flavors to choose from and over 80 different chocolates, including hand-painted truffles. Plus, these treats aren't overly sweet, which, in my opinion, is the downfall of so many chocolate shops!
