But the animals themselves are known to be friendly pets that people of all ages can interact with.
Whether you're looking to purchase a pair of alpaca wool socks or want to visit with the alpacas themselves, this farm and country store offers both!
Living The Dream Alpaca Farm and Country Store is located right off of Woodstock Road in Quechee Gorge Village.
The farm is home to 10 beautiful and friendly alpacas.
During certain hours, you can get up close and personal with the alpacas.
You can even feed them using alpaca-approved food provided by the farm.
In the summer, the alpacas are sheared of their thick coat and the fur is used to create soft alpaca wool.
After you visit with the alpacas, head into the country store to purchase unique gifts made with the alpaca wool.
One popular gift the store offers are these adorable alpaca "teddies" which are made to look like the alpacas on the farm and use their fur!
Other favorites from the store are their warm and soft mittens, scarves, and hats.
